How long will it take for my custom dress to be finished?

We ask that you please allow 10 to 12 weeks for formal gowns and 12 to 14 weeks for wedding gowns to be complete. Your one-of-a-kind dress requires a lot of detailing and we take our time to make your dress with the utmost attention to detail so that you are completely satisfied when you receive your dress. Please note that these timelines are an estimated average. Your dress could be ready sooner or later depending on the style chosen. More complex styles with heavy embellishments require longer time to complete.

How far in advance of my event can I place an order?

We advise that you place your order as early as possible -- the earlier the better in order to avoid unexpected delays.

How close to my event can I place an order?

We require at least 10 weeks to the event date for formal gowns and 12 weeks for wedding gowns. This excludes shipping time which can take anywhere from 3 business days to 9 business days depending on the shipping method.

For Ready-to-Wear gowns, we typically do not accept any orders in which the event/wear date is less than 10 calendar days from the date of purchase. 

For Custom-Made Formal gowns, we typically do not accept any orders in which the event/wear date is less than 10 calendar weeks from the date of purchase.

For Custom-Made Bridal gowns, we typically do not accept any orders in which the event/wear date is less than 12 calendar weeks from the date of purchase.

How do I know if my order was placed correctly?

Once you complete the checkout process, you will receive an order confirmation via e-mail containing your order number and a summary of all items purchased. If you have any questions, please contact us at sales@bridesbynona.com. If you do not receive the order notification email, please check your spam folder and verify that your email settings are enabled to allow our automated email notifications. If you are unable to locate the order email, please contact us immediately at sales@bridesbynona.com.

How can I track the status of my order? 
a) If you created an account on Bridesbynona.com, please log in via the "Log in" link at the top of the Homepage. This will take you to your account where you can see all past and current orders. Click on the order number for order status, total, and tracking information.
b) If you checked out as a Guest (or do not wish to log into your account), please send an e-mail to sales@bridesbynona.com. Include your Order Number and the email address used when placing the order in the body of the e-mail. We will respond to your e-mail within 48 hours with the status of your order.
Please note that for each shipment notification email you receive, tracking may not be available for the first 24 to 48 hours. If 48 hours have passed and you are still unable to track your order, please contact us at sales@bridesbynona.com.

 

SHIPPING & HANDLING

What countries do you ship to?

Brides by NoNA ships to the United States (including Alaska and Hawaii, but excluding U.S. territories) and internationally. We do not ship to Post Office Boxes, APO or FPO addresses. 

Does Brides by NoNA ship internationally?

Yes, Brides by NoNA accepts international orders and ships internationally. We ship to any country in the world with a working courier system.

What are your shipping fees?

At Brides by NoNA, ground shipping within the United States is always FREE! For International orders, shipping charges will be calculated during checkout.

  • Ground Shipping (U.S.): FREE!
  • Two Business Day Shipping (U.S.): At least $50.00 (Final price depends on destination and the weight of the package)
  • Next Business Day Shipping (U.S.): At least $100.00 (Final price depends on destination and the weight of the package)
  • Standard International Shipping: $70.00 (up to 15 lbs / 33 kg)
  • Standard International Shipping: $170.00 (above 15 lbs / 33 kg)
  • Express International Shipping: At least $250.00 (Final price depends on destination and the weight of the package)

Please note that shipping costs are charged on the order total, not per individual item. 

What are your shipping lead times?

Due to the custom nature of our dresses, please allow at least 10 weeks for the tailoring of your dress. For ready-to-wear pieces, your item will be shipped from our warehouse within 48 hours. You will receive a shipment notification email when each item in your order is shipped. The estimated delivery date for each item is based on the estimated processing time and the shipping method you choose. Processing time refers to business days and does not include weekends or holidays. We do not ship on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays. 

BridesbyNONA.com offers the following shipping methods:

  • Ground Shipping (U.S.): estimated 3-5 business days
  • Two Business Day Shipping (U.S.): estimated 2-3 business days 
  • Next Business Day Shipping (U.S.): estimated 1-2 business days 
  • Standard International Shipping: 7-9 business days
  • Express International Shipping: 4-6 business days

How do I know which dress size to choose?

You may access our size chart using the following link: Size Chart

For custom dress orders placed via e-mail, a detailed measurement request form will be e-mailed to you with instructions on how to take your measurements accurately.

How do I place an order for a Ready-to-Wear item?

Placing an online order with Brides by NoNA is simple, convenient and hassle-free. Please follow these steps:

  • Just log on to our website and view our dresses in the NoNA R|T|W collection. All products in our NoNA R|T|W category are in stock and ready to ship.
  • Fall in love with our unique dresses. All photos are of REAL dresses to show quality and design, not stock photos.
  • Select the color, size and quantity of merchandise before adding to your shopping cart.
  • Please be sure to select a dress size only after viewing our size chart in order for your dress to properly fitted. Brides by NoNA will not be responsible for ill-fitted dresses as a result of incorrect size selection.
  • Confirm your order details in the shopping cart before proceeding to checkout. Please be sure to fill in the Event/Wear Date field before proceeding. You will not be allowed to proceed with your order if the Event/Wear Date field is empty. For gowns in the NoNA R|T|W collection, we typically do not accept any orders in which the event/wear date is less than 10 calendar days away from the date of purchase. 
  • Proceed to payment. We accept payment from all major credit and debit cards including: VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, JCB and Diners Club.
  • No credit or debit card? No worries -- we also accept direct deposits from all major banking institutions.
  • Orders from international clients are most welcome!

    I would like my dress to be Custom-Made. How do I go about it? 

    Ordering a custom-made gown is easy with Brides by NoNA. Please follow these steps:

    • Just log on to our website and view our dresses in the Bridal GownsBridesmaids Dresses, and Evening Gowns collections. All products in these categories are custom-made and require 10 to 12 weeks (Bridesmaids Dresses & Evening Gowns) & 12 to 14 weeks (Bridal Gowns) to be tailored.
    • Fall in love with our unique dresses. All photos are of REAL dresses to show quality and design, not stock photos.
    • Send an e-mail to sales@bridesbynona.com with the style name of the dress you are interested in.
    • Expect a response within 24 to 48 hours. 
    • Orders from international clients are most welcome!

    Please do not be limited by the styles and designs on our website. If you can think it and communicate it, we can probably make it! 

    I have my own dress design that I would like Brides by NoNA to make for me. How do I go about it?

    Don't see anything on our website that "tickles your fancy" or you have your own dress that you would like for us to customize? No problem -- that's our specialization!

      • Simply send an e-mail to sales@bridesbynona.com or bridesbynona@gmail.com
      • Attach pictures with detailed, close-up views (front, back, side) of the dress you want customized. Please be sure to attach high resolution pictures of the dress in order for the details of the dress to be seen clearly.
      • In the body of the e-mail be sure to include a description of how you want the dress to be customized, your wedding date, and other important information.
      • For Custom-Made Formal Gowns, we typically do not accept any orders in which the event/wear date is less than 10 weeks away from the date of purchase.
      • For Custom-Made Bridal Gowns, we typically do not accept any orders in which the event/wear date is less than 12 weeks away from the date of purchase.
      • A Brides by NoNA representative will respond to your e-mail within 48 hours confirming your order with the next steps in the process. This begins the obligation-free consultation. It may take several e-mails until you are satisfied with the designs and prices. Our ultimate goals are perfection and client satisfaction.
      • Orders from international clients are most welcome!

      I am based outside of the United States but I want Brides by NoNA to make my dress. What do I do?

      We have served brides in major countries outside of the United States of America such as the United Kingdom, Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania, Canada, Belgium, and The Bahamas. We are still expanding our global reach. As long as your country has a working courier system then we can certainly serve you! Simply follow the steps above for ordering a Ready-to-Wear gown or a Custom-Made gown.

      What forms of payment do you accept?

      We accept payment from all major credit and debit cards:

      • VISA
      • Master Card
      • American Express
      • Discover
      • JCB
      • Diners Club

      For customers who do not own credit or debit cards, we accept bank deposits from all major banking institutions. You can select this option at Checkout.

      Will I be able to use my international credit/debit card on your website?

      Yes, you sure can.

      Is my payment information secure using this site?

      Yes, it sure is! All payments are processed through Shopify (a Level 1 PCI-DSS compliant shopping cart) and uses 128 bit SSL certificates to keep your order details secure so you are guaranteed that your information is 100% safe and secure. When you make a payment on BridesbyNoNA.com using your credit card, Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. As soon as your transaction is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted immediately. All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
